Rar_Player - Playing video while downloading rar files

RarPlayer is only party ahk:
- it uses unrar.exe
- and GOM Player (freeware GLP) - I hope it's legal...

So, what it does? It plays rar.

Rar Player can play video (xvid divx) from broken, uncomplete rar files while still in the download process.


He?

Let's say you started to download a video compressed into 75 rar files.

- Rar_Player grabs your first rar file and extracts a broken avi file from it.
- It starts to play it.
- Rar_Player can listen to the download folder and dynamically amend the broken avi file with the newcoming rar files contents.
- The video is still playing in the player.
- Once all the rar files are down, your video is complete, avi is reindexed and all is done.

But then, you are already in the middle of the film...

One thing is important (I think - not tested) is that you download rar files in the right order (starting with the first, ending with the last) - but your download manager will handle it.


It is virtually a video on demand solution - if you have a good bandwidth.
